To turn our economy around, we need to get Pennsylvanians back to work as soon as possible.

Doug Pike will champion the creation of new, clean energy infrastructure and jobs in fields that promote the development of renewable and environmentally-safe forms of energy.  These initiatives will not only protect our land, air and water for our children and grandchildren, but can also provide well-paying jobs for American workers – jobs that can’t be outsourced and will give a much-needed boost to both our economy and our environment.

Doug will also lead the fight to rebuild and reinvest in our country’s infrastructure – our roads, bridges and mass transit systems – to help create jobs and revitalize the economy.

Putting America on the road to economic recovery requires a comprehensive strategy that includes domestic reforms as well as changes to our foreign policy.  Doug will work to stop countries from unfairly manipulating their currency to dump their products in our markets and hinder our exports.

Finally, hard-working American families cannot benefit from an improving economy if a wasteful and dishonest government is standing in their way. Doug will work to eliminate wasteful spending and those who would take advantage of tax loopholes, whether they do so from inside or outside of the government.
